A funny story you'll appreciate

So, we currently own ONE rental property, which is curently vacant. We are SO thankful that we are down to one! The other day, my husband was going to do a little picking up at said property, so it could continue to be shown. It was in the evening, and the lock box wasn't opening. He worked at it for quite awhile when he heard, "Put your hands up! This is the police!" John did so, and found himself in handcuffs!! We were out of town at my mom & dad's place, and John was sitting there trying to figure out how to prove he owned the property. He eventually directed the police to a neighbor that knew him, and was very thankful that this property was one we used to live in!! The police informed him that if he had no way to prove he owned the propery, he could have found himself in jail for the night!! Nice.
