Most of you know that we have been awaiting news from our dear friends about their upcoming adoption of a beautiful 3 year old named Eva. We heard last Friday that they have officially been granted guardianship and will travel to India within the month!!! We couldn't be more thrilled.
It is amazing to me how God works in our hearts, allowing us to be part of his story in the world. Monday I was strongly lead to pray that Ed and Vonda would receive the call ON ED'S BIRTHDAY, which was, as it turned out, the day they received the call. I even felt prompted to tell John "for the record" that I had been praying this. We both burst out with joy and tears at the announcement they made on Friday at Ed's birthday party.

I am filled with joy! The culmination of so much waiting, so many prayers and longings. And how gracious of God to let us in on it, the way He prompted you to pray and then answered that prayer.
